Sync Google Contacts with iPhone or iPad

One-way sync from your Google Contacts to your Apple device

The below process allows you to sync your Google Contacts to your iPhone/iPad Contacts app. After this process, whenever you add, update, or delete a contact in Google Contacts, that change will be reflected in your iPhone Contacts app.

IMPORTANT:

If you are syncing your Google Contacts with RealOffice360 CRM, please do not enable the sync to iPhone/iPad, as you may experience sync issues and duplicate contacts.

This is a one-way sync process only, from Google Contacts into your iPhone Contacts. So any changes you make in your iPhone Contacts app are not updated in Google Contacts.

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Contacts. You might need to scroll down.
  3. Tap Add account. If you've already synced a Google Account to your device, tap Accounts.
  4. Tap Add account  >  Google.
  5. Follow the instructions to sign in to your Google Account.
  6. Choose which Google apps to sync with your device. You can update these settings at any time.
  7. Tap Save.

To start the one-way sync from Google Contacts, open your iPhone or iPad's Contacts app.

If contacts aren't syncing

  5. Tap Account > Advanced.
