Upload Files
Keep all your client documents, contracts, photos, and important files organized in one place—attached directly to each contact's profile.
Why Upload Files to Contacts?
Store and access all client-related documents within your CRM for easy reference and better organization. Whether it's listing photos, signed contracts, inspection reports, or transaction paperwork, keeping files attached to contacts ensures you always have what you need at your fingertips.
Where You Can Upload Files:
RealOffice360 gives you multiple places to store files for each contact:
- Contact Files tab - General documents and files for the contact
- Notes - Attach files to specific notes and conversations
- Deals - Store transaction-related documents with pipeline deals
- Properties - Upload property photos, inspection reports, and home documents
This guide will show you how to upload, organize, and find files throughout your CRM.

Contact Files
The Contact profile Files tab lets you:
- Browse the File List of uploaded files for this Contact
- Search for a File by the file name
- Upload a File to this Contact
- delete files from this Contact

File List
Open a Contact record, then click the "Files" tab to browse your saved files related this contact. A file can be added to this list by either:
- Using the Upload file button to add a file directly, or
- By attaching a file to a Note, Deal or Property for the contact
PRO TIP: You can quickly tell if a file is linked to one of this Contact's Notes, Deals of Properties by checking the Files list Linked to column. From there you can quickly open the relevant record.
Search for a File
Type a keyword in the 🔎search field above the File List to search the files for this Contact.
Add a File
You can add files to a Contact by either:
- Using the Upload file button in the contact's file list, or
- By attaching a file to a Note, Deal or Property for the contact
Delete a File
You can delete a file from the Files list or if linked to a Note, Deal or Property, from that record's files section.
NOTE Please note that regardless of where you delete the file from, the file will be permanently removed from your CRM account. You can't undo this action.
Search Files
The global Search feature lets you search all the Files in your CRM account. As said before, every file is associated to a Contact record. A file can be:
- uploaded directly to the Contact, using the Upload file button in the Contact profile
- attached to one of the Contact's Notes, Deals or Properties
To search for Files in your entire CRM account, simply check the files option in the Search box.

The results are all the files in your CRM account that match the search text. The results include files uploaded directly to Contacts or attached to Notes, Deals or Properties.

- A: file uploaded directly to a Contact
- Click this icon to open or download the file (this depends on your browser)
- B: file attached to a Deal
- C: file attached to a Note
- D: file attached to a Property
- Click the Deal, Note or Property button to open that record.
